Guncha Babajanova
I am an Economist at Amazon. I specialize in Applied Microeconomics with a focus on Industrial Organization and Public Economics. Most of my work comes down to three questions. How do prices and fee structures change what firms and customers do? How do firms differentiate themselves, and who ends up served as a result? And how do you measure what is not directly observed?
My research interests lie at the intersection of Industrial Organization, Spatial and Urban Economics, and Financial Institutions. Specifically, I am interested in investigating questions related to financial institutions, the accessibility of financial services, and community development using the ideas from Industrial Organization and Spatial Economics.
